Sunny’s most recent CD, “Into The Light” (2018) recorded with her quartet (Ron Newman, Larry Ochiltree, and Ed Fedewa) reached #26 on the Jazz Week’s Jazz Album Chart.

Sunny is completely in tune with her band mates when performing in a listening room setting of a theater or performing arts center, or in the lively atmosphere of a jazz festival or club.

Sunny's band includes pianist and composer Ron Newman, a faculty member at Michigan State University since 1980, and conductor and music director for the Lansing Symphony Jazz Band since 2011. Bassist Ed Fedewa has performed in virtually every musical genre from classical soloist to country music sideman. He is Professor of Bass at Central Michigan University and focuses much of his time playing jazz. Larry Ochiltree has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, he has performed with jazz greats Mark Murphy, Maynard Fergusson, Tony Bennett, and Marcus Belgrave. He is on the faculty at Hillsdale College and has appeared in Modern Drummer, Who's Who in Music, Jazz Iz, and Downbeat.
