James Bond movie theme songs featuring odd-meter riffs and shifting grooves executed by some of the most wanted swingers known to reside from New York City to LA, with a stop along the way in Nashville!
It all started with a record label in New York City who asked renowned percussionist Akira Tana and the Secret Agent Men to record the James Bond theme songs and to feature jazz artist Annie Sellick on vocals for an album called "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang". The record was such a success and the band meshed so well that they decided to turn it into a live show.
...And so, Annie joins Akira Tana and the Secret Agent Band to present the well known and well loved songs live from the James Bond movies including Nobody Does It Better, Live And Let Die, Goldfinger, and From Russia With Love.
The exceptional ensemble includes Annie covering the vocals, Akira on percussion, plus electric guitar, Hammond B, and saxophone. More players can be added. The band will also share interesting information about the movies, composers, singers and bands that made each of the theme songs famous! This show is a cool way to incorporate contemporary pop music with a theme and a jazz twist! Great for an evening performance, corporate event, or a themed fundraiser. Bond, baby...James Bond.
