Dreamers Making Things Happen

Jamie-Sue Seal is the Founding Artist and Senior Agent at Smokin' Sleddog Records, a boutique record label and national booking agency based in Michigan. Her esteemed and diverse recording and performing arts roster includes exceptional award winning artists in the Blues, Jazz, Irish, Contemporary, World and Americana genres. The agency also boasts an outstanding educational and community outreach division. Seal trained in vocal performance for 10 years, and is certified in Arts Management from the University of New Orleans, and has a degree in dance.

Jamie-Sue has released a handful of records on the Smokin’ Sleddog label beginning in 1999. She actively performs in the duo Bottle Rocket Cabaret with John Latini, with her all-female band The Come Hithers, and is the music director at her church. Beginning in 2003, Jamie-Sue has hosted "Jammin’ Round With Jamie-Sue" Songwriter Rounds and previously, a radio show by the same name. She is the Publicity Coordinator and has served on the board of the Ten Pound Fiddle folk club since 2008, and on the board of the Ohio Arts Presenters Network. Since 2013, Jamie-Sue has been Marketing Coordinator for Above The Bridge Songwriters Weekend Retreats and presented workshops as part of the teaching staff. She loves her dogs and winter activities, including dog sledding! Mascots for Smokin’ Sleddog Records include the following canines; Zachary, Daisy Jane, Chloe and Levi.
